Set in Portland, Oregon in 1993, Iceblink Luck follows Cleo Porter, a 16-year-old aspiring actress living with her free-spirited single mother Iris and younger brother Valentine. When Cleo meets Jordan Shaw, a charming 24-year-old actor, she falls deeply in love with him, losing her virginity and ends up pregnant— only to discover that Jordan is secretly living with Bruce Holland, an older man who finances his lifestyle, under the condition he stays off of heroin. After getting an abortion that Jordan abandons her through, Cleo is heartbroken and disillusioned, only to be lifted by a callback from a Los Angeles network casting director who saw her potential. The film closes with Cleo boarding a bus to Hollywood, leaving Jordan— now hustling on a street corner— behind, as she moves towards the future she dreamed of.
