Table For Two
Christian Belmonte
Set in a quiet, late-night diner in 1978, Table For Two unfolds as an intense and intimate conversation between two unlikely companions: Marsden, a sharply dressed and disarmingly calm government agent, and Derrick, a haunted military veteran grappling with the aftermath of a life-altering experience in the woods.
What begins as a seemingly casual meal soon reveals layers of tension, secrets, and hidden agendas. As coffee is poured and memories are stirred, Derrick finds himself torn between protecting his family and exposing a truth too big to contain. Marsden, equal parts charming and chilling, guides the dialogue with an unsettling ease—raising questions about trust, control, and the cost of knowing too much.
Logline:
In a remote 1970s diner, a battle-weary veteran confronts a charismatic government agent about a recent encounter with something unearthly—unraveling a tense, emotional standoff where the truth may be more dangerous than the lie.
